Introducing the new Apple iPod Touch

Steve Jobs today at the Apple's "The Beat Goes On" Special Eventunveiled the new revolutionary iPod called the iPod Touch. Here are some of its features:
• Introducing the "iPod touch" - 8mm thick (thin) multi-touch UI...
• Same size as iPhone, but thinner.
• Wi-Fi. 3.5-inch diagonal multi-touch display
• 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
• Same UI as iPhone, zoom, pinch, spread, etc. YouTube via Wi-Fi included
• Comes with Safari Web browser
• Sensor for auto landscape viewing
• Apple's first Wi-Fi touch product to ship worldwide
• iPod touch battery: 22hrs audio, 5hrs video playback
• 8GB for $299, 16GB for $399 - to ship "this month, in just a few weeks by 28th September"
• The UK price is £199 for the 8GB model, and £269 for the 16GB model. The Apple UK store has also like the US store set a date of 28th September for shipping.
• Get songs from the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.
• iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store: same prices, full library as iTunes Store
• Dock the iPod touch and it syncs to your Mac or PC
• Component video output to television is supported by iPod touch at 480i or 576i resolution.

The new Apple iPod Touch will start shipping worldwide from the 28th of September.
