This is pretty much what I was looking for. I knew that I would almost always keep my iPod Touch in my purse, and that I would not be using it as much as others do. So I wanted to keep anything in my purse from scratching it up. This Griffin case comes with a very nice transparency sheet to stick onto the glass, as well as a polishing cloth, which cleans up finger oil smudges pretty well on its own.

The only downside is that it slips out once in a while. However, this is never truly a problem, as it simply slides into the fold--no harm in just pushing it back in a few millimeters so that it lines back up. It would never be at risk of sliding completely out of the case. Also, sometimes I feel like I have to hit the Home button a little harder than I want, which is probably due to the iPod sliding out and "misaligning" so to speak.

Overall, though, it is a very slim and somewhat fashionable fit for my 2G iPod Touch. I would recommend it to people in situations similar to mine. For on-the-go, frequent use, definitely go with one of the other typical cases that wrap around the back and edges.

Griffin PowerDock is a charging Dock that you can use with your iPod Touch, iPhone, and most of other iPod models.


As advertised by Griffin, the PowerDock includes a collection of Universal Dock insert adapters to ensure that every iPod and iPhone in the house gets a place at the table. There's no video/audio output, as well as USB port in this dock. It's purely a charching dock to charge batteries.

The front plate of the PowerDock features a brushed metal body. The back and the sides is a simple matte finish, and then the bottom is outfitted with a grippy rubber base. It's simple, but it works and it looks good.

Griffin FlexGrip iPod Touch Case

Griffin has recently announced a new iPod touch case, FlexGrip, which is a silicon rubber case. It's a dual-color case: the front is black, and the back is covered with grip-molded grey dots with varying size. Currently, black and grey are the only color combination that is available for the FlexGrip iPod touch case, while the clear + black and red + black version is forthcoming.



The Griffin FlexGrip iPod touch case also comes with a screen protector that covers the entire front screen except for the Home button. This case is highly accessory-compatible. It works with everything that you might want to plug in to your iPod touch. The price for the FlexGrip is currently $14.99 which is really reasonable!
